I'm back. eduventure was fun fun and funnn!
i didnt want to come back lar.
we had to take 1o hrs of plane ride, followed by a 4 hr bus rede to reach OPC (outdoor pursuit centre)
.
First day and Second day was merely travelling, eating and sleeping day.
for some reasons, we were given the VIP rooms.
so they were quite nice and comfy.
me, grace and eloise shared room 5.
oh, and there's a heater in it too.

Third day was ' Local Day'

we had this high flying fox across this river thing.
I think that it was sooo scary.
i closed my eyes throughout.
oh, then we climbed into this drain hole.
you know those metal grilled covers that you find on grounds?
it was smth like that.
we climbed into it, then had to crawl through ths really squeezy and small pipe.
there were dirty water inside.
imagine having tht water on your arms while crawling.
I somehow managed to feel some of the contents in that water.
i thought i touched some animal's poo in it. haha

Fourth day

we walked for hours and hours through bushes to reach the waterfall.
the walking part was damn tiring.
at first, we walked on the pathway.
some parts were veryy muddy.
our feet just sank ankle deep into the mud.
i had a hard time pulling my feet out.
then at some areas, there were plants with pricky leaves.
some got pricked quite a number of times.
luckily i was pricked only once, and it was already damn painful.
partly because of that, we decided to walk in the river.
it was just as bad.
although not that muddy, the water was cold.
the rocks were slippery and many of us kept falling in the river.
then finally, we reached the waterfall.
there was a rainbow too.
it was all so beautiful :)

Fifth day

we had tubeing and caving.
for tubeing, we had to wear about 4 layers of clothing as the instructer said it's gonna be cold.
and it WAS coldddd.
we were given a tyre each, and we had to sit on the tyre and flow along with the river.
sounds fun eh?
but trust me, ITS NOT.
starting was fun, cos none of us were that cold yet.
but slowly, the water got deeper.
i fell into the water quite a number of times.
if not for that life jacket, i would have drowned.
there was tjis part when i was really really very frightened.
everyone's tyre was flowing towards the RIGHT.
mine was flowing towards the LEFT.
luckily ms quek helped me push it back a bit.
adding on to those, one side of my boots dropped into the water.
it was soooo coldd!!
by the time we got out of the river, we were all half frozen.
i was shivering and it was difficult to move my fingers.
i could not stand properly too as i could hardly feel my legs.
when we reached the van, we were told not to fall asleep.
they said we our blood might freeze and die.
but later, we were warmer.
caving was different.
it was so fun :)
we had to squeeze through small gaps.
oh and there were alot of glow worms too.
when we all turned off our torches in the cave, it was pitch dark, and the gloworms seemed like litle stars.
it was very very nice.

Sixth day was 'Mountain Day'

once again it was funnn, but dangerous though.
we climbed 3/4 of MT RUPEHU.
we wanted to climb up the safe path.
but our instructor wanted us to climb up the extreame way.
we climbed up the rocks.
it was kind of dangerous, but i found it fun.
then at this point, we were given this i-sacs thing and taught how to walk on snow.
then we continued our way up the snow.
it was a bit slippery.
when we reached this so-called flat ground, we had our lunch.
we had a bit of snow fight too.
we also slided down this snow slope thingy.
it was so fun :))
it wasnt as cold as tubeing.

Seventh day.

we left OPC and made our way to Kiwi Paka.
by the way, Kiwi paka is a motel.
grace and i shared room 15.
we didnt do anything much there.
we just merely visited each other's rooms.

Eighthday.

we went to this geographic place.
we watched the geyser sprouting out.
and we went for a tour around that area.
there were pools filled with sulphur stuff.
there were boiling mud pools too.
those are all natural stuff.
then after that tour, we were free to go shopping!
we went to this warehouse, then we went to this shop called 'Pack n Save'. hahahaha
i bought alot of stuff.

then we went to souvenier shops too.

i think i bought too many things for people.

i only bought like one or two things for my self.

At about 10.30pm, me and grace went over to olivia and eloise's room.

we chatted till about 1.30 am then we got very sleepy.

grace and i went back to our room to grab our pillows, then sneaked back to their room.

so that night, me, eloise and grace slept on eloise's bed.

olove slept on her own bed.

.

grace and i woke up at 6.00 am to sneak back to our own room.

then we went back to sleep and woke up again at about 6.30.

we all then gathered at the bus area at 7.20am and set off to airport.

at about 8.30, we boarded the plane.

me and eloise got the seats side by side on the plane.

olive and grace got the seats behind us.

then after another 10 hrs of plane ride, we reached singapore at 6.30pm singapore time.

the 4 of us were damn kiasu, we rushed out first to the luggage collection area. hahaha

then after a few words from ms quek, all of us went back with our own parents.

i miss new zealand badly lar.

i really really miss.

i miss all the fun times we spent there.

those memories will never be forgotten :)
